1. Question: Why can’t I reach the expert's center?
Answer:At present, the service is offered only in the USA.
If you are a US resident you should have no problem reaching us since the phone number is a call-free number.
2. Question: How do I pay for the service?
Answer:In order to call and talk with askmeexperts you have to buy an askmeexperts card and get an access code. To buy the card and receive your access code simply dial 1-866-777-2009 or 1877-4ASKME4 and follow the instructions.
Only by purchasing the service you can receive an access code.
This service is payable only by credit card.
3. Question: Will the service be billed through my phone operator?
Answer:No. Dialing the askmeexperts’ line is free. You will have to purchase your access code after you have used up your free 5 minutes, under your own discretion only. Charges will appear on your credit card statement.
4. Question: How can I know which of the experts is recommended or suitable to offer the appropriate advice to me?
Answer:You will have the opportunity to choose which one of the experts you want to consult with.
All of our experts are known in their field and master their expertise. Any of them are suitable to give you an answer.
5. Question: What if the expert I want to consult with is busy or unavailable?
Answer:If you wish to consult a certain specific expert and he is busy with former callers, or unavailable at the moment, Please try him at a later time.
6. Question: What if the line is busy or there is no answer?
Answer:This is probably due to connection problems of the phone line.
Please verify that your phone line is functioning properly by calling other numbers.
If your phone line isn’t functioning properly, please call your phone company. If it does function properly, this means that we are having problems with our line. We apologize for your inconvenience.
Please hang up and call us again later. We would appreciate it if you sent us an email regarding the problem to info@askmeexperts.com . Please state your location and dial code in the mail. Thank you.
7. Question: At what point in the conversation this service is being charged for?
Answer:As a new customer you are entitled to 5 minutes free of charge. After your free 5 minutes you will have the option to be redirected to our sales representative that will help you buy your new access code. You may choose to hang up or you can choose to buy an access code and continue the conversation. Either way, you will not be charged unless you purchase an askmeexperts new access code.
8. Question: Can residents from countries other than the U.S. Use this service?
Answer:At present, the service is available only in the USA. In the future, we intend to open this service for other countries.
9. Question: What is the rate for the expert I have asked for?
Answer:Each expert has his own rate. The rates are mentioned in the site, Please check our rates before ordering the service.
10. Question: Is the AskmeExperts center active 24 hrs a day?
Answer:No. Our Expert center is active Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm EST (6am to 6pm PT).
